Motorcity has unleashed its latest brand – Daewoo Trucks – in the kingdom and the company hopes that its latest offerings will attract healthy interest in the passenger and commercial vehicle segment, writes Kristian Harrison.

At an unveiling and showcase event held at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, the Korean company, now owned by Indian Tata Motors, showcased their range of trucks, including medium-duty and heavy-duty options which feature a range of multiple applications for use in Bahrain’s industrial sector.

The medium-duty and heavy-duty chassis range are both available in long wheel base and can be used for various types of work depending on the situation.

These include tanks, crane-mounted trucks, garbage haulers, jetting units and concrete pump solutions.

Arun Kumar, assistant general manager of Motorcity, said: “Daewoo Trucks have proven their performance and durability in the region for more than a decade, and we are confident that this range will have accelerated growth in Bahrain.”

The latest Daewoo Trucks are available now, and they can be found at the Motorcity showroom in Nuwaidrat. Call 17702111or visit www.motorcity.com.bh for more information.
