Motorcity, the distributor of Chery vehicles in the kingdom, introduced the new Arrizo 7 at an event at its showroom in Sanad.
The term ‘Arrizo’ derives from the Spanish word for stability and balance, which the marque believes the new model showcases with its blend of energetic styling and fashionable elements.
The vehicle features eagle eye headlights with a high-tech chrome-plated design, dynamic rear design and smart LED lights and an ultra-large 455-litre boot. The comfortable interior provides a pleasant environment for passengers, with all materials manufactured to the highest standard with precision, strength and durability.
The Arrizo 7 is built on Chery’s new iAUTO core technology platform and advanced R&D concepts. The car also offers keyless entry, cruise control, a push-start button and an electronic emergency brake.
Under the bonnet, the vehicle is equipped with a 1.6L DVVT engine, and its new exhaust timing technology providing additional power and a 20 per cent increase in fuel efficiency over the previous model.
On the inside, the car has an intelligent driving entertainment system, complete with five multimedia-supported audio formats, as well as MP3 and dual USB ports.
The Chery Arrizo 7 includes Electronic Stability Control (ESP) that improves the vehicle’s stability as well as Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR) that is designed to prevent loss of traction in wet and extreme road conditions. In addition the Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) increases braking pressure in an emergency to help prevent collision, and Hill Hold Control (HHC) to assist with roll-back on hills.
Further safety technologies include a lightweight anti-collision structure and six-in-one safety airbags, which are designed to reduce injury to both driver and passengers.
Arrizo 7 prices start from an extremely competitive BD4,199 and finance options are available from BD52 per month inclusive of one-year free insurance, free registration and a five year/150,000km warranty.
