LULU Hypermarket marked the BHUK 200 Food Month in style with a London Tower Bridge-style drawbridge that opened to let in shoppers and a model of a double decker bus filled with bargain British goodies.
British ambassador Simon Martin toured the Hidd store at Sunday’s launch event after the visiting Royal Marines Band marched in musical splendour before performing at tonight’s garden party at the embassy to celebrate the 90th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Many British products have been specially flown in to fill the aisles of Lulu stores with special deals throughout the promotion period which runs until Tuesday.
“Lulu Hypermarket has one of the widest range of British products – in fact, we have our own logistics and warehousing facility in the English city of Birmingham to service our entire hypermarket chain,” said regional director Juzer Rupawala.
