To all the LMFAO fans who didn’t come out to Klub 360’s DJ Sky Blu bash because they thought he was a tribute act (since he stopped rockin’ long curly locks) … you missed out on one of the best shows ever staged in Bahrain!
The venue is normally filled to the sweaty brim but the unexpected space to groove meant that my girlfriend Vesta and I had some chance to show off our moves on the dance floor. The Bahrain Breakers, a hip hop dance crew, also put on a cool choreographed performance, building up the crowd’s excitement.
DJ Fahad Westside kept the club buzzing until DJ Sky Blu appeared…and with a puff of smoke and an explosion of streamers The Party President burst onto the stage.
Smartphones and giant Klub 360 glow-sticks lit up the club as the 29-year-old superstar joked around with fans before kicking off the festivity with his Number One electro-house hit Sexy and I Know It.
DJ Sky Blu fully interacted with the fans, busting a move and playing musical games with them on the dance floor. He even settled down for ‘selfies’ in-between his electrifying act.
The crowd lost their minds when he sang Shots and more streamers covered the stage when the Party Rock Anthem blasted from the speakers.
He was like the Energiser bunny on the TV adverts. Nothing could stop him from shuffling and nothing ever should. He may have a new shaved look but his captivating personality and sensational sound will never go out of style.
