The Royal Golf Club’s 2016 Ladies Captain Karin Lutz led her team to victory in May’s Ladies Monthly Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by the Sheraton Bahrain Hotel.
Lutz and team-mates Julie Dixon and Ann Hudson achieved a team nett score of 64.3. Lutz won an additional prize for coming nearest to the pin on hole 7 while former Ladies Captain Anne Quintino was closest to the pin on hole 12. Anne Kesterton achieved the longest putt on hole 10 and Debbie Lane won the straightest drive side contest on hole 3.
Money raised at the event is being donated to the Ladies Captain’s chosen charity for 2016, The Palm Association.
Ladies only golf competitions are held at the Royal Golf Club every Monday and Wednesday at 8.30am and are open to both members and visitors.
