Gulf Weekly Sink top prize in survey

The Royal Golf Club’s (RGC) management team has launched an island-wide online survey to collect data from existing and potential members and guests.

The 50 question survey, which takes only around five minutes to complete, has been devised to gather information from residents on their likes and dislikes and to determine what events and promotions they would like to see at the club.

Stephen Havrilla, RGC general manager, said: “Getting continuous feedback from our existing members and guests allows us to constantly strive for improvement. We are also eager to ensure that non members are aware that all of the club’s facilities are open to the public, including the restaurants, golf courses, golf lessons and country club.”

The RG is home to Bahrain’s only 18-hole championship standard golf course and to a par 3 9-hole course, both designed by golf course architect and golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, surrounded by the Riffa Views’ signature estates.

The club is now managed by Troon, a leader in upscale golf course management, development and marketing, and was named Troon’s 2013 Facility of the Year, the company’s top accolade.

Additional facilities at the club include award-winning restaurants, a golf academy with full practice facilities, a golf and leisure shop, meeting and conference rooms and a country club boasting a temperature-controlled swimming pool, multi-purpose sports court, well-equipped gym, ladies and gents saunas and steam rooms and a fitness studio.

* The online survey may be accessed on the club’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/theroyalgolfclub and all individuals completing and submitting it will be entered into a prize draw on October 31 for a chance to win an annual club membership for 2017.
