Tough preparation - Golf Tip by David Edwards

For anyone that watches the PGA Tour regularly, it is always entertaining to see how the best players cope with tricky situations and their abilities to produce ‘miracle’ recovery shots. For all golfers, no two shots are the same and they will come across a hard shot that they may never have encountered before.

During practice good pros practice shots from all positions, to prepare for any eventuality. So next time try hitting some balls from side hill lies, deep rough, tricky downhill, curving putts, up against the edge of a bunker and in fact, any tough position you can imagine.

This will better prepare you to confront the shot as a challenge on the course, rather than the normal shock and fear. Who knows, you might just pull that ‘miracle’ shot off!
