The Royal Golf Club is delighted to announce that it will once again host the prestigious King Hamad Trophy golf tournament, organised by the Bahrain Golf Association, from November 16-19.

The stroke play event has been approved by the R&A as counting towards the R&A’s amateur world rankings and is expected to attract top amateur golfers from around the region wishing to compete in order to gain amateur world ranking points.

The 54-hole tournament is also open to golf professionals and carries a generous prize fund with $8,000 being allocated to the overall winner.

The first King Hamad Trophy was held at the Royal Golf Club in 2007. British-born professional Jamie Elson won last year’s tournament with a six under par 210.
