Another successful season of Spring of Culture comes to an end! We would like to thank everyone for being a part of the events. We especially thank all the international and local artists for making it so grand and our wonderful audience for attending with abundant enthusiasm. Bahrain was alive with energy this season because of you!

The Bahrain Writers’ Circle will be staging a number of events during May. Newcomers are welcome to join.
Our monthly meeting will take place on Monday, May 8, at 7.30pm at Umami restaurant, Block 338 area, Adliya and the Poetry Circle Meeting will take place at the same time and place on the following evening.
The Bahrain Writers’ Creative Workshop will follow on Monday, May 15, 2017 and at 7.30pm at the restaurant.

I JUST wanted to thank GulfWeekly for the fabulous prize of a pair of tickets to the recent Gulf Air Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix.
As great F1 fans we were so thrilled to win the competition and although my husband and I have attended two previous grand prix events in Europe I can honestly say they did not compare with the hospitality, organisation and quality of entertainment produced by the organisers in Bahrain.
Well done to everyone concerned! I will be spreading the message with my friends home and abroad.
