Exciting times lie ahead for Chery, as it marked a double anniversary with a glamorous conference and multiple launches at the Capital Club.

Two new sedans, the Arrizo 3 and Arrizo 5, and the SUV, Tiggo 3, were revealed as the marque celebrated its 20th anniversary since it was established by the Chinese government, and Motorcity, one of the first Chery dealers in the GCC, notched its 10th anniversary of its association with the company.

Chery continues to grow in popularity on the island by producing reliable, comfortable models at extremely competitive prices. Motorcity senior general manager, Dr Bijan Majidi, said: “The new Chery product line features innovative technology and numerous attractive options for our customers. We are delighted to bring this new range to Bahrain.”

The Arrizo 3 and Arizzo 5 are both powered with a 1.5L high-performance and low-consumption engine, and available with automatic transmission and CVT gearboxes. The Arrizo 5 has a high option which includes a push-button-start, cruise control, automatic climate control, electric sunroof, leather seats and multifunctional steering wheel.

The Tiggo 3 packs a 2L engine which produces 137BHP, with a design philosophy of combining style with technology.

All three models have been awarded C-NCAP five stars for safety standards and are made with environmentally-friendly materials.

Chery has sold vehicles to five million consumers in 80 countries during its two decades of production, earning the achievement of being China’s largest passenger vehicle exporter for 13 consecutive years.

All the Chery models are offered with five years/150,000km warranty and road assistance. The Arrizo 3 is available starting from BD3,695, the Arrizo 5 from BD4,495 and the Tiggo 3 from BD4,895.
