Families flocked to the Bahrain Yacht Club for Saturday’s Beachball 2017 open day to share a passion for water sports.
The vent included a beach BBQ, sandcastle building and sand sculpturing competition, kayak races, a pirate fancy dress competition, walking the plank and live music from the Old Street Band.
There were also discounted water sports to encourage sea lovers to give some of the offered activities a splash.
The club’s general manager Paul Fraser: “The event was a tremendous success and it was great to see so many families dipping their toe in the water and having a go at some of the fun water sports available here.
