Kristina Fidelskaya has launched a sizzling summer collection that combines light and airy fabrics with bold and daring designs.
The Gulf designer created an elegant line entitled the Côte d’Azur Resort Collection for those lucky enough to be jetting off to exotic holiday locations.
Kristina said: “It is destined to allow women who wear the collection to feel relaxed and elegant for their entire holiday.”
The summer styles, recently unveiled during Arab Fashion Week, are part of a 25 strong collection of column and voluminous dresses.
The colours of the clothing and garments, which consist of a strikingly diverse palette including ivory, powder rose, trench, taupe, smoked orange, golden ebony and midnight blue to name a few, were inspired by 1950s American photographer Slim Aaron who is recognised for photographing jet setters and celebrities.
The delicate Italian materials used boast different textures that play with the structure and flow of each piece, making them versatile and easy-to-wear.
All the items appear to drape exquisitely on the body, playing on fluidity with the extremely light silk organza, as well as more structured woven fabrics.
Some have special details such as embellished Swarovski buttons and intricate French lace.
Many of the dresses are strappy and loose fitting which is ideal for those hot summer days.
There is also a range of fitted glamorous gowns with ruffles and other embellishments.
The tailoring of these flouncy and flirty designs falls in line with Kristina’s vision to empower the modern contemporary woman without compromising on femininity.
Her headquarters are in Dubai but the production is in Italy. Launched in early 2014, her brand currently features a range of luxurious pieces with plans of expanding to a full collection of ready-to-wear, jewellery and accessories.
