A leading tyre manufacturer staged a high-adrenalin racing experience for brand loyalists from across the Middle East, Africa and India at the F1 Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Car manufacturers, car clubs, bloggers and Michelin partners participated in the event together with several social media contest winners. The star of the event was the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, described by its makers as ‘an ultra-high performance tyre’.

Motoring enthusiasts from more than 10 countries in the region enjoyed the opportunity to pilot some of the most competitive racing cars in the world of motor sports, including a team from Bahrain distributor Ebrahim K. Kanoo.

The group included chief operating officer Stefan Moench, tyre & tyre-plus division senior manager Ahmed Saeed, and Lexus service manager Majeed Alsadiq.

“Participants in Michelin Passion Days had the opportunity to test the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on the track and experience its performance first hand during speed, cornering and braking tests,” said Ahmed.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S aims to provide maximum performance and safety on all surfaces thanks to its ‘optimised tread footprint’ which the designers say grips the road in all situations, even in the most extreme conditions.
