SENSATIONAL news … the sultry voice of Marie-Claire is back on the airwaves.

The former Radio Bahrain jockess has been snapped up by 91.4 Studio 1 FM for early evening shows and a late-night appearance too.

Much to the disappointment of listeners she was one of three hosts who lost their regular shows in a sudden broadcasting rescheduling turn of events believed to be brought on by budgeting restraints.

Studio 1 FM is a service of Saudi Aramco that broadcasts music throughout Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province on three different frequencies and has a growing fan-base in neighbouring Bahrain which is likely to increase even more now that ‘the voice’ is on board. It’s also available online and via service apps.

The station plays a variety of pop, classic rock, 80s, 90s, 2K, dance and ‘old school’ R&B. Marie-Claire can be heard on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm-7pm and Thursday 6pm-8pm, plus 10pm to midnight.

The Whisperer requests Lionel Richie’s Hello, is it me you’re looking for?
