I woke up groggy, hugging my laptop, spectacles still in place and still very much in Westeros. (You may stumble upon some spoilers below).

I have been busy ‘revising’. I have to skim through each of the 60 Game of Thrones episodes to be ready to face the seventh season and connect the yarn between. I wisely spent the last week feasting upon G. R. R. Martin’s books as if I was I ploughing my way through the 77 courses at Joffrey’s wedding.

Season Seven of Game of Thrones releases on Sunday! The fantasy drama stands at a viewership of about nine million with a 9.5 IMDb rating.

The sixth season blew our minds (much like the Sept) with its sudden plot twists, character omissions (while some walked happily back into play) and witty one-liners.

It has created an entire platform of imagination for us geeks and I’m sure most of us are waiting for the episodes to release more impatiently than our exam results. (Bahrain’s winters aren’t that bad). For those who have stayed away from this imaginary realm, I insist, watch it and watch out!

In Game of Thrones, you either win or you die ... and I really hope Jaime Lannister, Tyrion Lannister and Daenarys Targaryen win. (Oh! Only if we could trade Bran for Robb)

Now ready my horse, squire! The hand has work to do!
