Yousif & Aysha Almoayyed Charity has made a financial donation to Batelco’s Child Care Centre for its services to orphans, parents and children of broken families. The donation was handed over by Faisal Al Asfoor, training manager at Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons (YKA), to Fatima Al Mannai, one of the centre’s board members, at YKA head office in Manama.
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority staged a four-day Art of Content Management Course held in collaboration with the Arab Tourism Organisation at the Bahrain International Exhibition Convention Centre. The course was attended by participants from inside and outside the kingdom.
Issa Al-Naar who joined GPIC in 2012 and is currently an operator in the products handling and export section was recently chosen as the petrochemical company’s employee of the month. He received his prize certificate and appreciation award from managing director Ibrahim Al-Musaitir, in the presence of GPIC’s president, Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery.
Gulf Hotels Group has handed over a BD1,000 cheque to The Friendship for the Blind Society in support to its activities. It was presented By group CEO Garfield Jones to the society’s president Hussain Haidar Al Hulaibi, in the presence of Ali Haji, manager of the society.
