The German festival Oktoberfest returns to the Gulf Hotel Bahrain’s Gulf Convention Centre for another year of fun and festivities on October 12 and 13.

Guests will be treated to a delicious authentic buffet and live music from the Lasterbacher Musikanten Band, flown in especially from Germany for the celebrations.

Tickets, which include unlimited visits to the Oktoberfest Buffet, is priced at BD26++ per person.

The Indian School Bahrain is hosting an ISB Mega Fair and Food Festival 2017, which will be held on October 12 and 13 in the Isa Town campus of the school. The main attractions of the event are the musical performances led by Indian playback singer and music composer Nakash Aziz on the first day and popular singers Sreenivas, Jyotsna   and Vishnu Raj on the second day. Tickets are BD2 on the door.

 

The Bahrain Authority for Culture & Antiquities is setting the stage for the 44th edition of its Fine Arts Exhibition, to be held in the beginning of 2018, by announcing an open call for local residents to register and take part.

Registration is open from now until December 15 and participating artists must be aged 18 years or above as of January 2018, and that all entries must be original and no more than 12 months old from the opening of the exhibition. The competition is limited to three entries per artist, and only one for installations and video.
