THE new 2018 Toyota Prado was launched at Ebrahim K Kanoo showroom in Sitra at the weekend.
The model has received a dynamic facelift, giving it a more stylishly rugged external appearance, plus an upgrade to its interior to further boost comfort and safety.
Takayuki Yoshitsugu, Toyota’s chief representative in the MENA region, said: “It strikes a balance between a refined design, both in its exterior and interior, and superior driving dynamics that bring greater agility and efficiency in driving performance.”
The Prado, one of the kingdom’s favourite drives, comes with a choice of a 4.0L V6 or a 2.7L L4 petrol engine and the automatic six-speed transmission promises a smooth shifting experience supported by the full time 4WD system with TORESEN Limited Slip Differential (LSD). The new edition also boasts downhill and hill start assist controls.
The Prado’s interior an upgrade inlcudes an eight-inch HD multi-information display and a comfortable seven-seat layout with power adjustable leather seats.
