Al Hawaj and Dali Haute Perfumerie Paris launched the latest fragrance from Salvador Dali’s Daligramme Collection at Jewellery Arabia 2017.
Jean Pierre Grivory, president and director-general of Cofinluxe, left, which holds the license for the world-renowned perfume brand of the late master surrealist artist, attended the event at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre.
The Daligramme Collection, a set of fragrances - Ma Muse, Ma Flamme, Ma Vie, Ma Reine and Ma Force – was created by perfumers Perfumers Mathilde Bijaoui, Amélie Bourgeois, Alexandra Carlin and Véronique Nyberg as ‘an olfactory interpretation’ of the passionate love between Dali and his wife, Gala.
The bottle designs were extracted from Dali’s ‘Daligrams’ which are said to be a secret alphabet code which he created and dedicated to Gala composed of eight characters the artist made from their initials.
Joining Jean at the launch were Al Hawaj GM Abdul Wahab Al Hawaj, director Hussain Al Hawaj, E-business development manager Mohammed Jawad Al Hawaj, division manager Shaker Abdulla, other Al Hawaj officials, local celebrities and members of the media.
