Italian fashion house Max Mara is getting women excited for warmer days in the New Year with the launch of its Spring Summer 2018 line.
The collection features lean tailoring in stone, black and white tones and in organza as well as boasting a sand-on-sand heritage logo motif woven into a trench or printed onto a leather jacket. The season’s must-have colours and prints also include mauves and florals delicately painted on dresses and skirts.
The trench coat re-emerges as a crisp linen spolverino and a sassy pencil skirt. There are natty little mannish coats and jeans jackets to wear with boy-cut pants and for a spot of drama, there are ankle grazing skirts and buckled kilts in gauzy linen for every day use. For those dressier moments, women will love the georgette fabric skirts, pleated and cut into strips that flutter seductively. Complete the looks with soft, outsize bags and sleek clutches in all the patterns and prints.
