The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and the Embassy of Italy in Bahrain has teamed up for Spring of Culture. Until May 27, in celebration of International Theatre Day, the Bahrain National Theatre will host Scenemadre, an exhibition curated by the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts of Turin.
With the creative use of models and ‘maquettes’, visitors will get a glimpse into the intriguing world of theatre, by exploring the history and evolution of scenography and theatre set designs through different historical periods and artistic disciplines.
