AWALI Golf Club’s president’s men proved too powerful for the captain’s team and took the bragging rights in the clubhouse for the first time since 2012, with the exception of a tie two year later.
President Mark Hodgkinson’s squad took victory with a score of 6.5 over Captain Paul Anderson’s gallant members who could only muster a score of 3.5 during a beautiful afternoon on the sandy course, played in perfect golf weather with only a slight breeze.
The annual Captain vs. President Competition has been running cine 1964. Both team of 20 gathered to enjoy a meal after the action.
