Those still shopping for festive presents need not look any further as Eberhard & Co is giving the gift of time with its latest outsize mechanical chronograph watch.
Stand out at any festive function in the limited edition Chrono 4 Grande Taille. There are only 600 of these mechanical timepieces that includes a black stainless steel case and black rubber strap. The sporty-style watch is also emblazoned with an E in relief on the side - the emblem of the maison.
The 43mm dimensioned case hides a mechanical movement with automatic winding. It also features four counters arranged in a horizontal row and the display follows a natural progression of time: minutes and hours hand, 24 hours and small seconds hand.
The watch is protected by a non-reflecting sapphire glass and it is water-resistant up to five metres. There is an optional Chêne Steel Bracelet and a Deployment Clasp Déclic.
The watch marque, founded in 1887 in Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss Jura, produces around 16,000 timepieces a year. The brand can be found in around 25 countries from Europe to the US and from the Far East to the Middle East.
The labels unforgettable creations include the Chrono 4, the 8 JOURS, the Tazio Nuvolari collection and the Extra-fort model. Other signature styles feature the women’s collection Gilda, the Tazio Nuvolari 336 and Desk-Clock, the Contograf Special Edition and Gilda in two precious new models.
Making waves this year will be the diving model which is a re-edition of a famous collection from the late ‘50s: the Scafograf 300.
