The See By Chloé brand has unveiled a bright and vibrant spring 2019 collection, making fashionistas wish the season was already here.

The French label, which is a younger and hipper version of the Chloé fashion house, showcases a Parisian girl in search for sunnier and brighter days. Her journey leads her to the beautiful beaches of Miami where she conjures up a series of outfits that encapsulates the beachy vibes and puts a spring in her step. Her looks feature feminine volumes, soft retro references and relaxed day-to-night dressing.

The collection coolly combines French flair with southern Florida fun. The wardrobe can be defined as boasting a free-spirited freshness with airy organza dresses, A-line shorts tied high on the waist, printed garden dresses with bell or gigot sleeves, balconette bustier tops outlined in contrast stitching and tiered skirts with lace incrustations or ruching. Other must-have pieces include trumpet-cut jeans, ample men’s trousers and a draped dress in candy pink punctuated with a circular cut-out along the side-body. The croc-patterned bomber and miniskirt feature a graphic and textured quilting technique known as boutis.

Traditional handkerchief techniques such as scalloped edging and flower embroidery are applied to a crisp cotton look as well. Knits also have a strong presence this season; elongating and flattering the body as fine ribbed dresses and tops, or as fishnet ornamented with small metal rings.

Athletic influences are pitched against dressier elements with shades of rose, marigold, pink and swimming pool blue colour-blocked in poplin and saturate lingerie-style separates.

Other tones include Natural and neutral shades of sand and limestone. Overall, the brand continues to capture Chloé’s flirty youthfulness.

Shoes complete the vibe, whether slides topped with a ruffled plasticised sunburst; jelly sandals updated with a small wedge heel; platform espadrille sandals; or an ultra-feminine, strappy low stiletto that laces up the leg.

Bags range from the TONY structured bag signed with an oversize hook and rings accumulation to the JUDD in nylon inspired by city and beach in equal measure to the Debbie bucket. JAY, the clear blue plastic cabas, is sure to make a splash wherever and however it is carried.
