There will be a cooking demonstration staged at Words Bookstore Café by Maram Turki, who goes by the Instagram handle @cookinwithmarmo, on Saturday at noon. She started her clean eating journey at the age of 22 when she met her first kale and since then she has been creating deliciously healthy recipes and five-minute meals.
She makes clean eating exciting. Maram will be preparing three quick, healthy, and easy recipes that everyone can create – especially those with a tight schedule. The event is free and all are welcome.
Then when you are done with the cooking demonstration, visit The Wraperie’s gift and stationary trunk show inside our store and shop from their unique collection of 2019 planners, notebooks, kids’ stationary, lifestyle accessories and more.
The event is held on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm.
Finally, the CookBook Club will be meeting on Monday at 7pm and this time we will be discussing Meera Sodha’s bestselling Fresh India book.
It reveals a whole new side of Indian food that is fresh, delicious, and quick to make at home. These vegetable-based recipes are feel-good food and full of flavour. Whether you are vegetarian, want to eat more vegetables, or just want to make great, modern Indian food, this is the book for you.
The rules of our CookBook Club are simple. Look through the book, pick a recipe to prepare, and bring the finished dish to our meeting where we will all indulge in a glorious feast!
