EXCITED Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia is opening a restaurant in one of the world’s most iconic buildings – Harrods in London.

Kama by Vineet will be unveiled shortly and he told The Whisperer: “I’m truly honoured and happy, in fact I can’t wait to get into our new kitchen.”

Food fans, however, don’t have to fly all the way to the UK for a taste of his fabulous fare … the delights continue to be served at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa’s multi-award winning Indian restaurant, Rasoi by Vineet.

The celebrity chef, who once attempted to teach editor Stan how to cook, has come a long way from Bombay (now called Mumbai) but his culinary philosophy still enshrines his mother’s saying that LOVE – in cooking terms – means Left-Overs, Vegetables, Etcetera … even in posh places!
