People that flock to the kingdom’s popular Bahrain Farmers Market every Saturday during the winter season can now snap up local produce from Saar Mall in an air-conditioned space.
Farmers are providing produce such as herbs, dates, fruits and vegetables as well as traditional breakfast, Arabic Pacha, Indian Dosa, and snacks on the ground floor of the shopping destination.
Hassan Abdulla Ali Bokhowa, the group chief executive officer of Saar Mall and Bokhowa Group, said, “The market has been successfully fulfilling the demand for locally produced fruits and vegetables and has been an immense success. Since its opening, it has attracted a large number of visitors. The organisers anticipate that the market will continue to attract more people in the summer.”
Customers are already praising the market for its perfect balance between amazing food, affordability and staff professionalism.
The Bahrain Farmers Market will stay planted in the mall until the end of August, every Saturday from 7am to 1pm.
