Chronoswiss is celebrating the art of ‘less is more’ in its new limited edition Flying Grand Skeleton watch, featuring a barely existent dial and a skeletonised movement.

The modern timepiece is a multidimensional regulator watch with an elaborately constructed dial and deep insights. Its characteristics exude a particularly contemporary aura due to the masculine size of 44mm and the innovative clear lines of the piece.

The dynamic colouring also supports the no frills effect. The funnel-shaped hour scale is featured in bright colours and the circular graining of the funnel is still visible through the semi-transparent varnish.

There is a smaller counterpart under the minute hand that accurately depicts an inverse image of the areas of the minute scale on a central miniature scale. These are hidden from view due to the overlapping of the large scale with the hour funnel. This trick elicits a sophisticated design because the minutes can still be precisely read.

The aesthetically skeletonised hand-wound movement is characterised by a stop-seconds mechanism.

The watchmaker has only produced 30 timepieces featuring a dial in galvanic black with contrasting accents in bright red and yellow, light blue and orange, or red and coral.

Two more classic colour combinations are available in a red gold or stainless steel case featuring a blue and silver dial each. Thus, connoisseurs are spoilt for choice once more!
