Last week, we bade farewell to Youth Talk teen Sarah Belal as she is setting out on her new university adventure. Her departure had me contemplating that perhaps it’s time to say goodbye to the Youth Talk column all together.
However, many teenagers wrote in, eager to take over the opinion piece and instead something beautiful sprouted. Allow me to introduce our new column “He Says - She Says” in which Zaidaan Zia Siddiqui and Athena Puri will be sharing their thoughts on everything and anything including lifestyle, entertainment and world news.
The duo will start their literary journey with GulfWeekly next week. For now, here is a sneak peek at what type of writing is in store for our readers.
