The French Embassy in Bahrain is honoured to welcome guests to the first edition of the “Study in France seminar” held on Wednesday at 7pm at the Golden Tulip Hotel.
This seminar will provide students with more details regarding studying in France, the living costs, and post study work experience. More than 350,000 foreign students currently study in France, and the numbers are steadily increasing, making study in France in high demand and France the first non-English speaking host country for international students.
France offers strong and high quality educational programmes in all the fields at French public universities, which welcome more than 80 per cent of the total number of students, at affordable prices as they are subsidized by the French government. Besides public universities, more than three 500 private and public schools welcome the students in different fields such as business, engineering, fine arts, architecture, journalism.

Bahrain FinTech Bay, in partnership with the Global Islamic & Sustainable FinTech Center (GISFC) together with The Manama Hub, launched the second edition of the ‘Meet the Leader’ session on Tuesday with the Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum Katherine Garrett-Cox. In this insightful evening, people learned about her personal journey, investing in Sustainable tech and her role as a woman in leadership.
Garrett is managing director and chief executive officer of Gulf International Bank (UK). She was formerly chief executive and chief investment officer of Alliance Trust PLC, one of Europe’s largest providers of sustainable and responsible investment funds. Currently, she is the chair of the Clean Air Fund, a philanthropic initiative to tackle air pollution.
