With 2021 almost upon us, designers across the kingdom are unveiling their latest collections to help Bahrain’s fashionistas reinvent themselves.

Even as much of New Year’s Eve festivities are set to be muted, Bahrain-based label Moda Vestire believes that is no excuse to not look your finest.

The ‘fusionary’ designer label, founded by husband and wife duo Adnan and Nazia Mustafa, is unveiling its ‘Vestire Blink 2021’ collection, with a focus on seasonal and transitory colours, while staying true to its ethos of ethnic wear, paired with bold accessories.

“Fashions may come and go, but one thing that remains is the idea of dressing in seasonal colours,” Nazia told GulfWeekly.

“Seasonal colours are hues that mirror the shades seen in the four seasons of nature. Each season has its own set of traditional colours that are typically associated with it as well as transitory seasonal colours deemed current by the fashion trends of the year.

“The colours this season are shades of blue - tranquil dawn, light blue and ink blue, paired with grey and bright yellow. For that extra festive flair, go with the classic red and green.”

Moda Vestire is also unveiling new additions by Reem Dhabour, Torani Saree and Chendheri Silk, as well as its Silk Velvet selection as part of this new collection.

For those looking to add to their professional wardrobes, the label’s multi-shaded green silk and velvet jumpsuit with tassel earrings will make a bold statement, and you can pair it with a stunning pure pashmina shawl to stay warm.

As Bahrain’s nightlife comes alive again, pair one of their white crop tops with a flair skirt. Add a dazzling waist belt and some wire-design earrings for an unforgettable look.

Those who are looking to make a subtle but iconic statement can go with the ‘Aasmani Raavi Chanderi’ saree with a patched organza border and sheer Beas Aari choli. Add your choice from the Riana Jewellery selection for that added touch of elegance.

The Rianna Jewellery selection pairs well with any existing or new additions to your wardrobe. Nazia recommends a stunning silk and velvet black dress, which provides the perfect canvas against which the jewellery can shine.

You can also try one of the label’s new ‘fusionwear,’ especially the pink hand-crafted Banjara jacket, along with some regal Riana Jewellery is sure to glimmer and bedazzle in any bridal photograph.

The new year’s new resolutions are as good an excuse as any to look your best with one of Moda Vestire’s newest outfits, which can be previewed and bought on their online store.
