The 14th edition of the three week-long Bahrain Summer Festival kicks off this week with a line-up of musical and educational activities.

The festival will kick off with a musical evening featuring three rising Bahraini stars, Mohammad Al Najjar, Haya Al Hamad and Layan Al Hamad. Mohammad has won a number of music awards, performing shows across the United Kingdom, where he is studying piano and composition. Haya and Layan most recently opened the award ceremony for the Unesco King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education. The three young musicians will be performing classical music at this event.
