Fitness fanatics can help raise awareness about breast cancer and funds for the Bahrain Cancer Society by participating in the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay pink movement.
The five-star-hotel’s The Spa is staging a Think Pink Day on October 13, from 4pm to 8pm, for women, who can start their afternoon with an invigorating Zumba class followed by a lecture on breast cancer risk factors and prevention by Dr Raja Al Eid from Salmaniya Medical Complex. Participants will then be treated to a Power Yoga class, ending the day with a sound healing and sensory wellness activity.
There will be an evening Rooftop Sky Yoga event on October 25, from 6pm to 7pm, on the 51st floor featuring stretching, meditating and finding emotional and spiritual balance.
Cardio workout in the pink will commence on October 29 with an outdoor spin class facing the dazzling views of Bahrain Bay at the Pool and Beach Deck. The gym’s star coach, Luis, will lead an outdoor calorie-busting spinning event from 9am to 10am.
All classes are priced at BD9 per person for hotel guests and spa members, and BD18 for outside guests.
Revenue from the activities by The Spa will be donated to the Bahrain Cancer Society. The hotel’s restaurants are also supporting this caring campaign through sales of its signature mocktail ‘Labour of Love’ at the Bay View and a dinar will be donated from the sale of every ‘Cracklin’ Rosie’ beverage at CUT, re/Asian, CUT Lounge and Blue Moon Lounge.
