The third season of The Mandalorian kicks off today, with Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd set to appear in an as-yet-unknown role.
Set in the Star Wars universe after the events of Return of the Jedi, the series focuses on a lone gunfighter who makes his way across the lawless galaxy to redeem his past.
The eight-episode Season 3 will run until April 19 and stars Pedro Pascal returning to the titular role, joined by Baby Yoda (voiced by David Acord), Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Emily Swallow as The Armorer, Omid Abtahi as Dr Pershing and Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto.
Joseph Shirley will be composing the score for this season, taking the musical helm from Ludwig Göransson. Jon Favreau is the showrunner, and has written all eight episodes of the season.
The Mandalorian Season 3 will be available today on Disney+, with weekly releases for the episodes anticipated.
