A smooth and unforgettable drive set amongst the roar of a turbo-charged engine and a panoramic sunroof providing breathtaking views was the highlight of testing out the all-new Bestune B70 S Coupe.

The leading Chinese automotive brand Bestune was unveiled in 2022 in Bahrain by their authorised local distributor Al Haddad International Motors.

Last weekend, the GDN Media team took the Bestune B70 S Coupe and T99 Limousine SUV for a test drive.

The B70 S is Bestune’s new flagship crossover model with sharp designs, mixing elements of a fastback and hatchback, with a bit of wagon thrown in.

What I really liked about the car was the racing-grade interior and technology-packed cabin, while the design and low profile of the seats gave a sports-car feel while zipping around the roads of Bahrain.

The 12.3-inch full-colour high-definition screen coupled with 360-degree panoramic cameras and intelligent technology made my driving experience in the kingdom’s narrow roads with tight turns in congested neighbourhoods a total breeze and I was able to put usual claustrophobic stress in my rear-view mirror.

The B70 S is a stylish beast - probably the best looking Bestune in my opinion - with a luxurious interior, touch-activated systems and a sporty flat bottom steering wheel. In addition to excellent stability and control, it also includes safety systems and technologies including automatic driving assistance, lane departure warning, traffic jam assist, fully automated parking and much more.

Meanwhile, the all-new luxurious Bestune T99 Limousine SUV feels like a futuristic space ship with a triple screen cockpit and a multi-function steering wheel, with the spacious leg room throughout the car making it the perfect choice for families.

According to Al Hilal Group marketing and sales manager Jalal Jaffar, who drove the T99, the vehicle is ‘equipped with an amazing sound system’.

He found the drive to be ‘light, smooth and balanced’ with the vehicle remaining steady on the road despite heavy winds - just like the B70 S, which flew close to the ground.

This Ramadan, the Bestune B70 S Coupe, which is usually priced at BD11,000, can be snapped up for BD10,400 including VAT, and the Bestune T99 Limousine SUV, usually BD13,700, is on sale for BD12,995 including VAT.

As an added special treat, customers will be given the chance to pick a chest and win one of four prizes with every purchase in a ‘Grab your treasure with Bestune this Ramadan’ promotion.

New Bestune buyers can win a complimentary one-night stay at Mövenpick Bahrain, a voucher from Avis Rental Cars or a spare set of tyres and a car battery, each of which comes with three years’ insurance and registration.

They can also win five years’ insurance and registration.

And for a limited time, all Bestune cars sold will come with a region-leading lifetime warranty, five years of service, VIP insurance and more, aimed at providing customers with peace of mind and value for money.
