Action addicts must have loved Netflix’s Extraction 2 so much so that it warranted a third future flick for producer and star Chris Hemsworth.
Talks have already begun for the development of Extraction 3 by the TV streaming platform, apparently, a day after the first action sequel premiered.
The first Extraction, which starred Chris as Australian mercenary Tyler Rake, debuted on Netflix in 2020 and became the biggest original movie premiere on the streaming service at the time.
The sequel, Extraction 2, came out on June 16 and received an even stronger critical response, thanks to a 74 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Chris and the film’s director Sam Hargrave announced the news on Netflix’s Tudum fan event on June 17, sharing that ‘the third movie is sure to follow up with even more stunts and killing from main character Tyler Rake’.
