The Queen B is turning her massive tour for her 2022 album Renaissance into a new concert film.
The 42-year-old Beyoncé shared a trailer for Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé where she told viewers how when she performs, she is nothing but free.
“My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free and no one is judged,” she added.
The trailer teases behind the scenes of the 57-date run that recently concluded in New Orleans, showing Beyoncé rehearsing with her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, who has been dancing on the tour.
The teaser also shows interactions with her husband Jay-Z and their twins Rumi and Sir.
The film is believed to also incorporate highlights from the world tour, documentary footage of the album’s recording and the tour’s conception, as well as the long-awaited music videos for the rumoured accompanying visual album.
The Renaissance film will be distributed through the AMC Theatres cinema chain in the US, bypassing traditional distributors, just like with Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras tour movie.
Beyoncé had released a number of concert films in the past including the Netflix documentary Homecoming, which featured the making of her 2018 Coachella headlining set.
Many musicians such as Lewis Capaldi and Billie Eilish have been documenting their own careers.
