PEOPLE are getting in the festive spirit as Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas is You has made it to number one on Global Spotify list this week.
Confirming that the holiday season is officially here, another one of Carey’s songs holds a strong position in second place on the global list, alongside Brenda Lee’s Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree - which ranks in fourth.
Both of Mariah’s songs had made their way into the charts at number 37 and 40 in the UK Top 40 two weeks ago, even though it wasn’t until the third week of November last year that a Christmas song appeared in the UK’s charts.
