Ballets, art exhibitions and concerts are all part of this weekend’s activities for Spring of Culture.

l An exhibition, titled Black, White, Green, Red aims to express solidarity with Palestinians through various forms of art and presentations, at Albareh Art Gallery, in Adliya. It’s open Saturday to Thursday, from 9am to 1.30pm and 4pm to 8pm on Thursdays, until February 22.

l A Thousand Tales Ballet will showcase a world-class performance of music and marvels, featuring beloved characters such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Aladdin and many more. The event takes place on Friday and Saturday, 8pm, at Bahrain National Theatre in Manama.

l The Japanese Embassy, supported by the Japan Foundation and in co-operation with the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, is organising a sushi exhibition tomorrow at the Art Centre, Manama. The event, which begins at at 8pm,  will highlight the mastery of sushi craftsmanship and the place where each dish originated. Entry is free.

l Palestinian-Jordanian talent Leen Al Faqih, known for her patriotic songs and powerful warm tone, will stage an authentic performance of Arab melodies tomorrow night, 8pm, at the Cultural Hall. Her versatile vocal abilities span multiple languages, harmonising Arabic with French, Spanish rhythms and jazzy touches.

l Bahrain’s own Mohammed Bin Faris Band will perform at Mohammed Bin Faris Music Hall, in Muharraq, tomorrow.

l The 47 layers exhibition by Shaikha Hala Mohammed Al Khalifa remains open to visitors until March 30. It delves into layers of the soul, experiences and places that we find ourselves in, while navigating paths in search of clarity and comfort.

The event is being held at the House of Architectural Heritage, Muharraq, from 8am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm from Saturday to Thursday.
