Swedish singer and sensational pop-star Zara Larsson has just released her fourth studio album through Sommer House and Epic Records.

The 12-track album, Venus, was released on February 9. Zara enlisted songwriters and producers Casey Smith, Rick Nowels and Danja, to help her achieve the exact sound and mood she wanted on the album.

The star, best known for her hits Never Forget You and Lush Life, told Variety magazine that she ‘sought to recapture the freedom she felt making her first album’.

“It was just me, introducing myself to the world,” she said.

To give fans a teaser of the new project, she released the album’s lead single Can’t Tame Her on January 26, and the song later entered the top five and top 10 in the star’s home country, as well as Norway.

The 26-year-old rose to fame in 2008, after singing on the Swedish TV show Talanag (the Swedish version of Britain’s Got Talent), and since then, her unique voice and charisma have won her tens of thousands of fans across the globe.

Zara has been a recipient of numerous awards, including three MTV European Music Awards.
