PSYCHOLOGICAL thriller Blink Twice is out now in theatres.
Marking actress Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut, the movie follows the story of waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) who gets invited by tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) to a dream vacation on his private island. However, strange things start to occur and Frida must uncover the truth to make it out alive.
“I wanted to tell a story about the female experience, and how absurd it is that we are asked to smile through our pain, and to pretend like we don’t remember, and pretend in general like we’re okay when we’re not. I wanted to really try to find a metaphor for that, and let people into that experience,” Zoë explained in an interview.
Born Zoë Isabella Kravitz, the actress is known for her lead role in the HBO drama series Big Little Lies (2017-2019) as well as her recent major role as Catwoman in DC’s The Batman (2022) starring Robert Pattinson.
