It was a great feeling to see a large part of Bahrain making great efforts to celebrate its 40th National Day. As an expat who has been witnessing the turmoils of Bahrain in the last few months, it was a delight to see the number of cars adorned with the national flag driving around the main roads of the kingdom. Everywhere we went there was a great spirit of celebration by both locals and expats. The most popular malls were abuzz with shoppers and people selling jackets, flags and caps sporting the national colours. The papers were full of pictures of citizens enjoying themselves at the aerobatic show and at Adhari Park.

Child endangerment appears to be TV’s hottest trend

Lots to brag about

VOTED the Minivan of the Year by Philippines motoring TV show Autofocus and the Best Value Car by Wheels Magazine Australia, the KIA Carens is not a vehicle to to be overlooked. Taking it for a test drive was one smooth affair. It was easy to understand the controls and although I am a sedan driver, it felt like I had been driving a minivan for ages.
