It was a great feeling to see a large part of Bahrain making great efforts to celebrate its 40th National Day. As an expat who has been witnessing the turmoils of Bahrain in the last few months, it was a delight to see the number of cars adorned with the national flag driving around the main roads of the kingdom. The most popular malls were abuzz with shoppers and people selling jackets, flags and caps sporting the national colours.
