Promising youngster Taimur Malik narrowly won the fourth Junior Elite competition in the VIVA Junior Saturday Series at the Royal Golf Club for the third consecutive time. The 12-year-old, who was featured by GulfWeekly as a nine-year-old up-and-coming golfer, achieved a score of 29 edging runner-up Ali Babtain who had a score of 30. In the Junior Academy category, designed for young golfers new to the game, Ali Mohamed Alkowari clinched first place with a score of 26 and Eid Adel came second on 28.
