Wednesday (June 11)¥ Alliance Francaise is hosting the Wadj Concert - an evening of poetry and musical expressions - at the Ibrahim Al Arrayed Poetry House. The performers are pianist and composer Ghaiss Jasser, singer Naziha Meftah and poet Khaled Roumo. Songs will be sung in Arabic or French accompanied by the piano with an original music composed by Ghaiss Jasser. The concert is free but due to limited seating, guests must book in advance. ¥ DJ/producer Phil Weeks will be performing at LEVEL, located on the upper floor of Club Seven in Mishal Hotel, on June 19.
Twelve acts will be competing for a $1,000 prize in the final of a talent competition on Friday.
