MOVIE-MANIA is coming back with a splash to the Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park with a series of weekend screenings starting from Saturday.
The film series starts with the fantasy drama Where The Wild Things Are directed by Spike Jonze and adapted from Maurice Sendak's 1963 children's book. It combines live action, performers in costumes, animatronics, and computer-generated imagery. The film stars Max Records, Catherine Keener and Mark Ruffalo and features the voices of James Gandolfini, Paul Dano, Lauren Ambrose and Forest Whitaker.
GulfWeekly film critic Charlie Holding said: "Diving in to a great movie can be really fun - it can be even more fun if you get to float around in a rubber ring while you're doing it!"
The popular dive-in big screen movies were launched last year giving movie-goers the chance to enjoy some great family films while also enjoying the rides and picturesque environment of the water-park.
Iron Man will be screened on May 8, Dukes of Hazzard on May 14, Monsters and Aliens on May 15, Goonies on May 21, Harry Potter - The Half-Blood Prince on May 22, Innerspace on May 28 and Sherlock Holmes on May 29.
The screenings are a free bonus to the entrance price of BD14 for adults and BD5 for children less than 1.2 metres tall. Visit www.LPODwaterpark.com for further details.
