Thursday (Sept 2) The group preliminary round of the Bahrain Financing Company (BFC) Open Bollywood Dance Competition will take place at 8.30pm at the Indian Club in Manama. Semi-finals for both divisions will take place on September 9 ahead of the grand final on the third day of Eid.
The Centrepoint Desert Symphony will take place on the first day of Eid in September at the Indian School grounds, Isa Town. It will feature performance by Sri Lankan choreographer Chandana Wickramasinghe's Sri Lankan Dancers Guild, as well as award winning Indian pop music diva Usha Uthup, Tamil play-back singer Mano, vocalist Anwar Sadath and finalists from the Asianet reality show Idea Star Singer Hisham Abdulwahab and Lekshmi Jayan.
