Awali Golf Club (AGC) Vice Captain Steve Newall, pictured right, recently completed an outstanding achievement by rowing a marathon (42,195 metres) on a Concept 2 rowing machine in three hours and five minutes. The impressive feat raised more than BD750 for AGC’s Captain’s Charity.

The popular F1-themed scramble competition returned to the Royal Golf Club’s Montgomerie championship course this weekend, attracting nearly 100 competitors. The event was won by former club captain Barry Hobday’s team with an impressive net score of 56.8.
