The New Toyota FJ Cruiser fitted with a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) kit has arrived at the Ebrahim K Kanoo Toyota showroom in Sitra.
Its makers say the new TRD variant injects ‘a dose of Waku Doki’ – Japanese for adrenaline rush – into the line-up, with styling and added off-road capabilities, which allows it to conquer the most difficult terrain ‘effortlessly without missing a beat, all the while maintaining its composure as a true off-road machine’.
Ayman Shehadeh, marketing manager at EK Kanoo, said: “We have noticed the positive feedback that the FJ Cruiser TRD has received around the world and we wanted to make this outstanding high performance model available for all Toyota fans in the kingdom.”
The FJ Cruiser TRD comes with a host of add-ons, including, TRD Shock Absorbers, TRD Coil Springs, sporty TRD 17-inch wheels, and TRD Exhaust Muffler Pipe. Other features include the TRD Skid Plate and TRD Shift Knob.
The FJ Cruiser comes equipped with a powerful 4.0-litre, V6, 268HP engine, and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The full-time 4×4 also features Active Traction Control and Hill Start Assist.
