EPIC fantasy novel Wind and Truth: Book Five of the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson hits the shelves tomorrow.
Taking place on the fictional planet Roshar in the Cosmere universe, the literary series features a range of characters with magical powers, who fight against evil while also learning to face their demons, tackling mental health themes, among others.
The fifth book is set to follow former assassin Szeth, who must cleanse his homeland from the dark influence of the mysterious group Unmade.
“It’s (the book) going to answer a lot of questions, it’s going to delve into the lore of Roshar more than any book has so far,” Brandon, who took 10 years planning the series, said in an interview.
The award-winning author has become highly regarded for his captivating writing style and detailed worldbuilding, as many of his works are set on different planets in the Cosmere universe, with subtle connections and character appearances across his creations.
So far, the Stormlight Archive comprises The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Edgedancer, Oathbringer, Dawnshard, and Rhythm of War.
