The Ramadan Smile Campaign received an extra boost this week when the little tots from Rainbow for Kids, Muharraq, stepped in to help.
The British-style nursery, which has up to 65 children attending aged from around one to three, have fun playing and learning and this month tackled the subject of dinosaurs with a stomp and a maze.
“The kids who come to us get to have a pretty amazing time every day,” said Principal Christine Hassan. “They have loving homes, teachers and friends. We don’t expect them to understand the suffering of the children in the refugee camps but we do like them to learn that they can give – especially as in ‘letting go’ – putting those kiddie toothbrushes in the box can be very hard when you are two-years-old!”
